Hedge Trimming

Straight lines, sharp edges, no mess left behind.

A well-shaped hedge lifts the whole front of a property. We trim, shape and thin hedges across Greystanes and Western Sydney, then take every clipping with us.

Shaped by hand, finished properly.

We work the face and top of each hedge to a consistent line rather than skimming the surface, so new growth comes back thick and even instead of patchy. Screening hedges, standalone shrubs and low borders are all handled the same careful way.

Kept tidy between visits.

Hedges grow fastest through the Western Sydney warm season. Booking a regular tidy alongside your mow keeps the shape under control, avoids hard cutbacks later, and means one team looking after the whole property.

Frequently asked questions

How often should hedges be trimmed?

Most Western Sydney hedges look their best with two to three trims a year — a hard shape in early spring, a tidy through summer growth, and a light tidy before Christmas. Fast growers like murraya and photinia often need more.

Do you take the clippings away?

Yes. Clippings are raked, bagged and taken away as part of the job, and paths and driveways are blown clean before we leave.

How tall can you go?

We trim hedges and do light pruning up to three metres. Anything above that, or any tree lopping, is outside what we take on — we'll tell you upfront and you can arrange a qualified arborist.

Can hedge trimming be part of a regular visit?

Absolutely. Many customers add a hedge tidy to their scheduled mowing or garden visit so the whole property stays sharp without extra bookings.
